A Christmas for the books....

Quote of the year:

"Well i didn´t have a bad day, but it was probably the worst christmas ever."

-Lowell Bailey, who spent Christmas alone in a hotel room, in perhaps one of the most Christmasey places in the world, Austria. At least we learned that he did enjoy a festive dinner beside a Christmas tree.

  1. Kate,

Merry Christmas and thank you for such a wonderful opportunity to get my heartfelt Christmas message out to the rest of the world!

Oh, by the way, I didn't realize Paul Theroux was part of the reason you're on this trip! I just finished his "Dark Star Safari". Anyway, that's very cool and I hope you write a book about the whole thing. Feliz navidad!
